Group

A group bundles several objects into one logical item in the layer tree. It has no text or image by itself — it is a wrapper for moving, selecting, and structuring.

Why group

  • Move or treat multiple widgets as one unit.
  • Keep the layers panel tidy by nesting children under one node.
  • Control stacking relative to siblings on the frame.

Group / ungroup shortcuts: Hotkeys.

Properties

Groups share layout, background, radius, stroke, effects, animations, and link like widgets. Some options behave differently than on a single widget (e.g. background may affect how descendants look, not only the group box) — trust what you see on the canvas.
